Digital Radiology in Kansas City & Gladstone

We are all concerned about exposure to radiation. In an effort to provide our patients with a higher level of dental care, we use digital radiography, which reduces radiation exposure by 75% or more than traditional dental x-rays. Additionally, we use aprons with thyroid collars to shield our patients during this procedure.

What Makes It Special

Unlike dental x-rays, digital images provided by digital radiography can be enlarged and enhanced to improve disease detection. This allows us to identify dental disease at an early stage, saving our patients time and money. We have extra small sensors for small mouths. Our office is also equipped with a digital panoramic imaging machine. By biting on a small guide with your front teeth, we can capture an image of your entire jaw and all of the teeth. A panoramic image allows us to evaluate areas of the jaw where disease could go undetected, something that is hard to achieve with traditional dental x-rays.
